What Makes CCF Different?
When it comes to making lasting change, we all know that relationships matter. The Conscious Connections Foundation (CCF) grew out of the more than thirty year long relationships built by Ganesh Himal Trading in which we have partnered directly with individuals and communities in Nepal, striving to give them an economic voice. But through this work we realized that often times, without supportive infrastructure, jobs aren’t enough. CCF was formed to partner with Nepali communities and individuals to put in place simple but effective programs in education, health care and infrastructure development that are Nepali designed and led with a particular focus on the advancement of women and girls.
The Fair Trade Community
We have asked you, our customers and people in our community to not only buy our products, but to help us rebuild workshops, send girls to school, build a remote health clinic and fundraise for earthquake relief, and what have you done? You’ve donated beyond our wildest dreams and made these things happen. You have organized store campaigns and been our co-creators. Like the bees who gather nectar from flowers and deliver pollen to fertilize, you have worked cooperatively with us to make these projects flourish! One of our goals in establishing a non-profit was to connect conscientious North Americans to the incredible communities in Nepal–you, our wonderful customers are our connection and everlasting community so thank you. You help us achieve our mission to “educate North Americans on their ability to positively impact these individuals lives with direct donations.”
