Ganesh Himal's home décor selection includes
beautiful hand-woven, hand block-printed
placemats, table runners and floor mats,
finely hand-pounded copperware, hand
painted trays and mirrors and a variety of
other products designed to be functional, long
lasting and easy to care for.

The majority of our home décor items are
produced for us by a women's development
aid project in Kathmandu that is dedicated to
enhancing the dignity of severely
disadvantaged Nepali women. The project
helps these women develop the skills
necessary to earn a living as well as providing
benefits such as welfare and retirement
programs, warm meals, bonuses and a girl
child education fund.

Some of our home décor items are made by a
group of Tibetan monks living in exile in
Kathmandu. These monks are seeking out fair
trade business opportunities to help
financially support their communities in exile
and the refugees who flock to the monasteries
daily.
